The national ministry of Human resource development conduct Central Teacher Eligibility Test to the CBSE Delhi , twice a year. CTET is held all over India in 20 languages. Every year approximately ,14 lakh candidate apply for this exam .

CTET Exam Conducted in Two phase . Paper 1 and Paper 2 . Paper 1 is Conducted for the candidate who aspire to become teacher for class 1to 5. Paper 2 is Conducted for Candidate who aspire to become Teacher for class 6 to 8.

CTET Eligibility:-
Candidate should be citizen of India.
Age Limit – There is no age limit, however , the candidate must be minimum 17 years of age.
Educational Qualification for primary stage Teacher:-
• Candidate must have passed from senior secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
• Candidate must have passed or appearing in 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Candidate must have passed or appearing in the final year of the two-year teachers’ training diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with rules mentioned in NCTE, or B.El.Ed or Special education or B.Ed degree
Educational Qualification for Elementary Stage Teacher:-
•Candidate must have do Graduation in any stream with 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, One year B ED Course, four year B.EL.ED course, Four year BA/B.SC .Ed , BA.Ed/ BSc. Ed or on year B.Ed in Special education.
