26 January is known as Republic Day all over the country. On this date , Independent India adopted the Constitution in the year 1950. The Draft Constitution of India was Framed and ready by February 1948 but it was formally adopted on January 26, 1950 declaring India is the preamble of the Constitution as a sovereign, socialist and secular democratic Republic.
It was on January 26, 1930 Indian National Congress had declared the demand for complete independence in the session held in Lahore. This was the day when India as a republic came into existence on January 26, 1950.
Republic Day is celebrated all over the country and this day is declared as a national holiday by the government of India. It is a matter of pride and honour to celebrate this significant day.
This day is celebrated all over the India like school , office , Bank etc. All over the nation, People hoist flag and sing National Anthem. The president of India presides over the parade of Indian Armed force in the Capital of the nation , New Delhi. The Parade is organised on Rajpath from Vijay Chowk to India Gate. In this Parade, The Armed Force display their vigor , enthusiasm and weaponry.It is Followed by a Cultural Presentation by the States and Union Territories of India.
The Day is Celebrated in everywhere in the country . In School , Teacher and Students equally Participate Preparing for the Republic Day celebration . The school is decorated with Pictures of Freedom Fighters , Flower Pots and More. Following the National Anthem, Inspiring National Song are sung in Chorus . Teacher’s Prominent local personalities and students take up dais for their respective speech in the praise of India’s Struggle for the Independence.
After, a long period of tyranny of the British Rule India became independent on 15 Aug 1947. In Aug 1947, Drafting Committee for making the Constitution was created. Dr. B.R Ambedkar was the presiding chairman of this committee. This committee was given the huge task of preparing and planning the Permanent Constitution of India .
On 4th November 1947 , Dr. B.R Ambedkar submitted the final draft final of the Constitution to Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the First President of India, but on 26 January 1950 the Constitution of India was fully enforced.
On this day , all the Indians remembering the martyrs of the motherland and vow to make India a better and peaceful nation.

The awards are like The Veer Chakra Award along with the Padma award is also declared by the Government of India. One of the leading civilian honours is the award of ‘ The Bharat Ratna’ is also given to the civilian who has magnificently Contributory to the nation.
