IBPS SO Exam is Conducted by the Institute of Banking personnel Selection to select eligible Candidate for various post like Agriculture Field officer, Marketing officer (Scale 1), HR/Personnel officer ,IT officer Scale 1, Law officer &Rajbhasa Adhikari scale 1. The exam is held all over the India in online mode.

The exam is conducted in Three stage every year:-

•Professional Knowledge (objective for Law,I.T,HR, Marketing, Agriculture) – 60 marks
•Professional Knowledge (Objective of Rajbhasa& Descriptive for Rajbhasha) – 60 marks
Interview
Candidate applicable for interview round who have been shortlisted in the mains exam. The total marks alloted for the interview is 100.The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40%(35% for SC/ST/OBC/ PWD Candidate).
Changes in the IBPS So Exam Pattern 2020
•IBPS has introduced separate timing for each section in the Prelims exam
•IBPS SO exam has a total duration of time 120 Minutes and 40 minutes for each section
•The Score of Prelims exam will not be count for the final allotment
•The final selection will be based on the mains exam and Interview round
•The main exam will contain questions only from professional knowledge subject.

Eligibility criteria of IBPS SO
(1) IT officer Scale 1:
Education qualification:-
• Bachelor’s degree of engineering/Technology degree in Computer Science/IT/Computer Application/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electronics and Telecommunication/ Electronics and Instrumentation.
• Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science/IT/Computer Application/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electronics and Telecommunication/ Electronics and Instrumentation.
•Graduation having passed DOEACC “B” level exam.
(2) Agriculture Field Office :-
•Graduation degree in agriculture/ Horticulture/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ dairy Science/ Agricultural engineering/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/ Agri Marketing and cooperation/ Co-Operation and Banking/ Agro-Forestry.
(3) Rajbhasha Adhikari:-
Post Graduate in Hindi with English as a subject at the graduation or degree level OR Post-Graduate Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as a subject at graduation level
(4) Law officer:-
Bachelor’s degree in Law as an advocate with Bar Council
(5) HR/Personnel Officer:-
Graduate and Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relation/ HR/ HRD/ Social Work/ Labour Law
(6) Marketing Office Scale 1:-
Graduate in MMS (Marketing)/ MBA (Marketing)/ PGDBM with specialists in Marketing.
Age required:
A Candidate must not have been born not earlier than 02-11- 1989 and not later than 01-11-1999
Minimum age -20 years
Maximum age – 30 years
Note – Age relaxation for the Candidate category wise
SC/ST – 5 years
OBC – 3 years
PWD – 10 years
