JEE(Joint Entrance Examination) main exam is the entrance examination which is for admission to the National Institutes of Technology(NIT s), Indian Institutes of Technology(IIT s), and some other colleges designated as”centrally funded technical institutes”(CFTI s).

JEE Main  is conducted by NTA (National test agency) from 2019 onwards. This examination was being conducted by the central board of secondary education (CBSE) until 2018. JEE main exam is started in the year 2002 and continues.

JEE MAINS

Even JEE main is extremely tough, yet the number of aspirants keeps on increasing every year. the JEE main is conducted twice a year in January and April. But now because of corona HRD ministry has confirmed that JEE main 2020 conducted from September 1 to 6,2020.

JEE mains exam is conducted in the online process. As candidates qualify in the JEE main they can appear for JEE advance exam.

JEE main consists of three subjects. That Physics is the toughest subject among the three subjects. Mathematics is easy to paper and chemistry is moderately easy, according to experts.

Class 12 marks have no weightage in the preparation of the JEE main exam.

JEE main exam duration is of 3 hours and the exam is conducted in three languages., English, Hindi, Gujarati. There is no age limit for applying the JEE main exam. To apply for JEE main exam candidates should complete the 12th standard. Candidates should require 75%  to qualify in JEE main exam.

In JEE main for correct answer =+4 marks and if the answer is incorrect= -1 mark and foe Unattempted answer= 0 marks.

JEE Main consists of numerical based questions as well as objective type multiple choice questions and each subject consist of 100 marks .e.., three subjects 300 marks. The paper will have a total of 100 questions.
