Central Silk Board Recruitment Exam Pattern :

The online test will be an objective/MCQ where there will be options to the question and you have to select one of the options as your answer.

The Central Silk Board (CSB)  Online Test/Written Examination will be conducted in English or Any Languages.

All the eligible candidates who have applied with the requisite fee and whose applications are received in time will be called for the Online Test.

After the Online test, there is an interview process.

So, as per the marks obtained by the candidate, he/she will be called for an interview.

So, after critically observing the application, verification of documents, and testimonials produced at the time of the interview.

The candidates who are selected for the interview round need to submit all the original documents at the time of the interview.

If the candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria as per the application, then he/she will not be allowed for the interview and will be disqualified.

So in the online test, you will be given a carbonless O M R (Optical mark Reader) answer sheet having two copies the original copy and the duplicate copy under that.

Do not attempt to displace or separate them while answering. Without the carbon impression paper will be given to the candidates to take with them.

The candidate has to highlight his/her response to each question by darkening the chosen bubble with a Black Ball Point pen. No corrections with whitener/white fluid will be acceptable.

The Centre which is specified in the Admission Certificate will be the center for the candidate only,  no other Centre will be acceptable.

Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification:

• Scientist-B:  Post Graduate degree (Science) or Post Graduate degree (Agricultural Sciences) from any recognized University.
• Scientist-B (CSTRI) – B.E/B.Tech in Textile Technology.
• Scientist-C: From any recognized University: Post Graduate degree (Zoology) with 04 years of experience in Research and Development/Academic Institutes/Science & Technology Organizations in the field of Zoology.
• Assistant: Graduate Degree in Zoology/Entomology/Sericulture/Agriculture/ Chemistry with a minimum of 50% marks.

Age limit:

• For Scientist-B – 35 years
• For Scientist-C – 40 years
• For Assistant – 30 Years
