1-An ATL app development module for school children has been set in motion by NITI Aayog Atal Innovation Mission.

The Atal Innovation Mission(AIM) of NITI Aayog has launched the ATL App Development Module for school children, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Atma Nirbhar Bharat.

2-NTPC’s Singrauli Unit 1 stand out as India’s top-performing plant in the first quarter of FY21.

The state-run electricity giant national Thermal Power Corporation(NTPC) Singrauli’s Unit 1 has emerged as the top-performing unit in the country in the first quarter of the financial year 2020-21 as per the data released by the Central Electricity Authority.

3- India becomes the 2nd largest source of FDI in the United Kingdom.

Based on the latest figures released by the govt. of UK, India has moved up one place to become the second-largest source of foreign direct investment(FDI) in the UK in the financial year 2019-20. It was the 3rd largest FDI source in 2018-29.

1-Arunachal Pradesh’s Kezang D Thongdok wins 2020 Dada Saheb Phalke Award for ‘Chi-Lupo’-a documentary on Honey Hunting.

‘Chi-Lupo’ a documentary by an independent filmmaker, Kezang D Thongdok from Arunachal Pradesh won the 2020 Dada Saheb Phalke award. The film was showcasing the practice of collection of honey from the perched rocky hilltops.

2-IHD India gets ‘Development Marketplace award 2020’ from world bank and SVRI.

IHD(Institute for Human Development), an Indian non-profit institution conferred with ‘Development Marketplace Award 2020:Innovations to address Gender-Based Violence’ from world bank Group and Sexual Violence Research Initiative(SVRI) for the projected alcohol, intimate partner violence and household economy: an assessment of liquor ban in Bihar.
